About Flyball Fever

Welcome to the Flyball Fever website. Flyball Fever was set up in December 2008 for flyball enthusiasts across the UK. With more teams being formed all the time, and many people taking up the sport, we thought that a forum would be a valuable resource for current flyballers and people looking to start alike. We hope that you enjoy the Flyball Fever website and Forum.

Since 2008 the website has grown exceptionally quickly, and in 2011 we launched the brand new design. Also in 2011,  we held the UK's first training seminar involving Kelly Robbins-Walt & Aaron Robbins from Canada; following the huge success of the event we hope to hold similar seminars later in the year. The aim of Flyball Fever is to promote good training, health & welfare of the sporting dog and to offer the flyball community with a variety of flyball-related products.

Flyball is a fast and competitive team sport, that is popular throughout the world. It involves two teams of four dogs racing each other to retrieve tennis balls from a springloaded box. If you want to know more, click here to visit our About Flyball section!

Team Fever

Flyball Fever was created by Katie Ford (Leeds 'Owlers) and Kristian Allcorn (High Flyers), both are students with a keen interest in flyball and training; Katie is a fourth year Veterinary Student at Liverpool University and Kristian is studying French & Geography at Hertfordshire University.

Also part of the team: Alicia Allcorn (seminar co-organisation), Reece Marsland (seminar co-organisation & website coding), Katie Burns (forum moderator), David Flood (photography) and Leanne Szostak (website contributor). We also have a myriad of extremely kind helpers who give up their time to help us with the seminars.
